Lori Goodman

Lori Goodman is one of the original co-founding members, who comes from the Dilkon Navajo Nation community, who initiated a concerted effort, among youth and traditional elders, to protect her community from the insurgence of a medical waste incinerator. She helped mobilize an effort to put a stop to the misinformation disseminated throughout her community about the incinerator being nothing more than a trash dump and a place to burn garbage. She has dedicated over 30 years of volunteer service to help the organization grow into a reservation-wide alliance of community-based advocates whose primary purpose is to preserve and protect the land, air and water from extractive and unchecked energy development practices so our future generations may enjoy a healthy environment and quality safe drinking water that will sustain the Diné lifeway.
