Carol Davis

Carol Davis, Board Member- Carol is Kinyaa’áanii (Towering House Clan) and is born for the Tótsohnii (Big Water Clan). She has had the privilege of working within her traditional homeland of Diné people for over 25 years as a public administrator in both the government and nonprofit sectors. Formerly, Diné C.A.R.E.'s Executive Director, Carol accepted a position with the Native Organizers Alliance as their Managing Director. In 2023, she returned to Diné C.A.R.E as a board member. Carol holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Management from Northern Arizona University. She works closely with Indigenous communities and leadership to advocate for a better quality of life for her people. Carol has experience in a variety of projects, such as securing funds for community infrastructure; educating the public on the social, cultural, and environmental health impacts and costs that result from energy development; and increasing voter engagement for the region. Her leadership and advocacy is centered in Indigenous values, such as being a good relative, relating to others with good intentions, accountability to her community, and acknowledging the interconnectedness of all Life.
