Samuel Sage is President of the Board of Directors for Diné C.A.R.E. He is an eastern Diné community member from Counselor Chapter. He has served as a Sergeant in the Military Police Corps of the U.S. Army. Samuel has been an active community leader in the eastern agency and Greater Chaco region for over two decades. He has extensive experience in community outreach. He has served as an organizer, liaison, and Diné language interpreter. Samuel is a member of the Counselor Citizens Health Impact Assessment Committee. He is featured in the documentary Our Story: The Indigenous led-fight to protect Greater Chaco. Samuel also enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren.
