Diné CARE is located on the Navajo Nation and is a non-profit organization that works with many Navajo communities affected by energy and environmental issues. Since the late 1980s, community people have stood up to demand environmental protection and sustainable development practices, bringing systemic changes in tribal politics and making the grassroots voices evident in the realm of energy development.

Dinė CARE’s mission is to advocate for our traditional teachings by protecting and providing a voice for all life within and beyond the Four Sacred Mountains. We promote regenerative and sustainable uses of natural resources consistent with the Diné philosophy of life.
Our vision is to practice our sacred duty and responsibility of the Diné by revering and protecting hózhó of the natural world for future life.
We are grounded in Diné tradition with our Tádídíín.
We speak with the understanding that our words carry the power of prayer.
